Earlier this week RSP was delighted to host pupils from Sir Roger Manwood School in Sandwich for a “Modern Work Experience” pilot scheme run by Kent & Medway Careers Hub.

Part of a two-day programme, pupils spent the day at the airport for a presentation about logistics, a Q&A with Bristow Helicopters Search and Rescue, AVMAN Engineering and G1 Fire & Rescue, as well as a tour of the airport.

Airport General Manager Gary Blake, said: “We thoroughly enjoyed hosting the pupils and their teachers and are delighted they had such a good day. Hopefully it will inspire some of them towards a career in aviation, airport operations, engineering or logistics.”
